And the title already reveals something about the record, namely that it is divided into four parts.Together, they make for a multi-faceted rock album. Marr said in a statement, "There's a range of influences and a very broad sound that I've developed - really since leaving The Smiths until now, and I hear it in this record. There are so many musical strands in it. We didn't do it consciously, but I think I've developed a vocabulary of sound. And I'm very pleased that I was able to harness it."
